St. Barnabas Health Hires Herb Dankmyer as Manager of Community, Organization Relations

Gibsonia, Pa. - Jan. 4, 2006 - Herb Dankmyer has been hired as Manager of Community, Organization Relations at St. Barnabas Charities. He will be responsible for recruiting churches, schools and other community organizations to participate in St. Barnabas' various community outreach programs, including PRESENTS FOR PATIENTS® and Pennies for Patients.

Dankmyer was previously active with Hosanna Industries, a faith-based organization that provides home repairs to low-income families, serving as President of the Board of Directors for seven years and then as the Church Relations Liaison for seven years. A resident of Richland Township since 1975, Dankmyer has been a member of the township's Board of Supervisors for 18 years and currently serves as Board President. Dankmyer is also an elder at The First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.

Dankmyer graduated from Shaler High School, attended Edinboro State College and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been married to his wife, Linda, for 39 years. Their daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Steve, reside in Shaler Township.
