The Lettermen Sell Out Show at Kean Theatre
Proceeds benefit St. Barnabas Free Care Fund
Gibsonia, Pa. - June 14, 2006 - Legendary recording artists The Lettermen will perform to a standing-room-only audience at the Kean Theatre at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 24. The theatre is located inside The Washington Place at 5847 Meridian Road. The Lettermen have been performing since the late 1950s. During the 1960s and '70s, the group charted 20 hit singles, including "The Way You Look Tonight," "When I Fall in Love," "Come Back Silly Girl," "Theme from a Summer Place," "Goin' Out of My Head," and "Hurt So Bad." For more than 45 years The Lettermen have stood by their all- American, clean-cut image. Band members then and now appear on stage in matching costumes such as glitzy suits or tuxedoes.
A trio famed for its vocals, today's Lettermen consist of founder Tony Butala, Donovan Tea (joined in 1984) and the group recently announced the return of Mark Preston who rejoined the group in January 2006 (1984-1988). The group continues to perform throughout the country. In 1998, Butala founded the Vocal Hall of Fame in his hometown of Sharon, Pa.

The theatre is operated by St. Barnabas Charities, the fund-raising arm of St. Barnabas Health System.
